Project Overview
Formula Electric at Berkeley is UC Berkeley's electric formula racing team. As a member of the Powertrain subteam, I was responsible for designing parts of the transmission system as well as the cooling system.
My Contributions
On the transmission system, I designed the driven sprocket, the differential adapter, and the motor shaft.
On the cooling system, I defined the system requirements, specced out the radiator and pump, and designed mounts to integrate the cooling parts with the car's chassis.
